I ordered a new MacBook on Friday at a fairly impressive Black Friday discount. It should arrive via UPS on Wednesday. In regards to data transfer, my thoughts at this time are to remove my hard drive from the iBook, place it in an external HD enclosure and move everything en masse to the new notebook. *knocking on wood* Also recently purchased is "Let The Right One In" with the theatrical subtitles. Target seems to have gotten the updated DVDs in stock, which I picked up during a bit of xmas shopping yesterday afternoon. >>>><<<<< Wednesday 11/25: work was so slow that I was able to leave an hour early. Dined w/ Katya at the Butterfly Cafe, then her place for drinks and "Funny People", which is appropriately funny. Thanksgiving: plenty of food eaten at two separate meals, including several slices of pie (apple, pumpkin, French silk and some cheesecake). An hour at the gym helped cleansed some of my sins. Friday 11/27: work was so slow that I was able to leave two hours early. Another hour at the gym, then a quiet night indoors. Last night: Cory's lodge w/ Cory and Cara, Ben, Katya and BCF.
